Locals

All dive sites lying north and south of Naama Bay between the Strait of Tiran and the village of Sharm El Sheik are the so-called “Locals” A big advantage of the local dive sites is their comfortable character. Due to the position and morphology of the fringing reef along the coast between Tiran and Sharm El Sheikh most of the Locals are well sheltered from wind and current, but have nevertheless developed an excellent ecosystem.

Dives can be done by divers of all certification and training level. On your dives you can observe an excellent diversity of hard and soft corals and encounter an almost complete choice of reef fish: small anthias fish, the big Napoleon, fanciful coloured butterflyfish, parrotfish, triggerfish, unicornfish and much more.
